The video I watched talked about MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) joining with Portugal to better educate students of Portugal to become a more technological nation. MIT Portugal Program is a huge international partnership involving MIT and government, universities, and industry in Portugal to develop education and research programs related to engineering systems. The program has targeted bio-engineering systems, engineering design and advanced manufacturing, sustainable energy systems, and transportation systems as main areas for economic development. One of the men that speak in the video says “We are making a contribution to Portugal moving up to a more technological nation.”
