The Flight

The first day was interesting. Walking in to the airport I was kind of nervous. I was really excited to meet everyone. As people came strolling in I knew it was going to be a fun group. At the airport we sat and waited for our first flight to Philly. James and I walked around the airport while waiting and ended up grabbing some food at the Chinese place. Surprisingly, it was really good. Shortly after eating we were boarding the plane and on our way to Philly. The flight to Philly was good; it took us about an hour and a half before we landed. When we got off the plane it felt like we walked an hour to the opposite side of the airport just to get to our gate. Minutes later we were boarding the plane and on our way to Lisbon. Before the fight took off there were these annoying guys who didn’t know where their seats were and just sat anywhere. The flight attendant was getting annoyed and started yelling at all of them and threatened to kick them off the plane. Other than that, the flight to Lisbon was very long. There was a little bit of turbulence but shortly after the ride was good. I ended up eating the chicken but it was so gross so I gave it to James. I took a few naps here and there but I couldn’t really sleep. Before I knew it we were in Lisbon and on our way to the hotel.
